We are the "Sapporo Symphonic Band".
About us
"Sapporo Symphonic Band" is a citizen wind orchestra which started activity in 1971. Currently there are about 60 members enrolled.
Our wind orchestra has a subscription concert annually and a small concert with elementary and junior high-school students a few times a year.
We continue activities for the purpose of individual music improvement and pursuing the possibility of wind instrument music under the mentorship of Eiichi Suzuki who is the resident conductor.
We perform music by wind instruments. And are expressing four elements "Energy, Nostalgia, Peacefulness, and Emotion" of music.
